New At Home Activities: Art History Lessons and Crafts for Kids

The AD&A Museum’s Education & Outreach Program (EOP) partners with Isla Vista Youth Projects (IVYP) to provide after-school programs on global art history and craft, as a means to promote early interests in art, creativity, and global citizenship. Four new lesson plans from the program are now available. Created by the Museum’s 2020–21 Interns Hanna Zorrilla, Ariana Cuevas, Chloe Babcock, and Haylee Rosso, with guidance from EOP Coordinator Rachel Winter, the lessons range from recycled art to origami, surrealism, and women artists. Each plan includes art activities using simple craft materials. Download and use them all!
